Welcome to Hello Snowflake Designs, an international boutique studio specializing in luxury, handcrafted wedding stationery. Founded by Irish designer Ciara Hansen and nestled in the French Alps, we combine fine art craftsmanship with traditional antique printing techniques to create custom letterpress, hot foil, and digital invitation suites for couples in Ireland, France, and destinations worldwide.
Hello Snowflake Designs was founded in 2017 by Ciara Hansen, an Irish designer with a deep love of print, paper, and the art of the handmade. What began as a passion project has grown into a boutique studio trusted by couples across Ireland, France, the UK, and beyond to create one of the most personal elements of their wedding day — their stationery.
Our studio is nestled in the French Alps, and while the setting is decidedly European, our roots are firmly Irish. That connection to Ireland is reflected in one of Hello Snowflake’s most distinctive offerings: a library of over 37 hand-illustrated Irish wedding venue sketches, each one carefully drawn to capture the character and beauty of some of Ireland’s most beloved wedding settings.
What sets Hello Snowflake apart is the printing. We work with an antique 1924 Saroglia Italian letterpress machine and a vintage foil press, producing invitations that are pressed by hand, one sheet at a time. The result is stationery with genuine texture, weight, and soul — the kind that guests keep. Digital printing is also available for couples who prefer a more accessible price point without compromising on beautiful design.
The studio works with a limited number of couples each year, ensuring every client receives a personal, attentive experience from first enquiry through to the moment their suite arrives at the door.
