Couples often wonder when the correct time is to send their wedding thank you cards…
… and the simple answer is - when you are ready to!

Some couples surprise me, they get in touch within weeks of their wedding day to organise their thank you cards, whereas others take their time and even send them a year after their wedding day.

In general the ideal guidance given to couples is up to 3 months after your wedding day but there are so many factors that can affect that timeline.
For example, some people move house, others change jobs, some might start a family, potentially there is a personal reason for waiting to send them out.

When it comes to sending your cards though, work together, keep your list of names and addresses from your wedding envelopes, have your message printed on your cards so you don’t have to write each one of them and take your time. Don’t feel rushed or judged for when you send them out. Guests are always happy to receive a thank you card with a nice personal message, no matter whether it’s a month after your wedding or a year!
