Let's discuss our process and ideal timeline, from enquiry through to booking, design and delivery.

1. Enquiry & booking (6-12 months before your wedding day)
• Order Samples on our website
• Book into our diary

2. Design, we begin work on your wedding invitations (4-6 months before your wedding day
• We send a request for information to you by email
• The design ideas are confirmed

3. Proofing, we create realistic mockups and refine the design (3-5 months before your wedding day

4. Production & assembly, once we receive sign-off from you, we move to production (4 months before your wedding day)
• All details confirmed with you
• Production and assembly begins

5. Delivery, your stationery is sent by courier (3-4 months before your wedding day)

Ceremony booklets, mass booklets, ceremony cards - there are many different phrases used... These are the booklets your guests receive when they attend your wedding ceremony. They come in various styles and sizes, depending on the style of wedding ceremony that you are having.

These are a beautiful optional extra but yes the cost of weddings does add up and sometimes you can't say yes to every piece of stationery that you'd like to include

These ceremony booklet covers were fully foil pressed including a sketch of the Church of the Assumption in Castledermot. The colour scheme matched the rest of the stationery that was used on the wedding day. These ceremony booklet covers were sent to the groom who then assembled them himself with the inner pages he had printed.

Who we are...
We've been spending some time updating the highlights on our Instagram, a bit of a refresh and starting again in some cases as lots of things felt outdated and old.
We thought now is the time to reintroduce ourselves so you know who we are and what we offer in terms of stationery, particularly wedding stationery!

We are Ciara and Dave from Hello Snowflake Designs. Hello Snowflake Designs has been around for almost 10 years, since 2017. We have been working with couples all over the world but our main focus is on weddings in Ireland.

We specialise in wedding venue invitations and offer a wide range of venues throughout Ireland and into Europe. If you don't see your venue, just ask, as we are adding new sketches all the time.

We also offer different print methods to suit different designs and styles are flexible to suit your wedding day. If you love letterpress and foil pressing get in touch as we specialise in those two print methods.

We are based in the French Alpes at the base of Alpe d'Huez. If you have been over to this part of the world you will know how beautiful and inspiring it is, summer and winter alike but we particularly like winter as we moved here for the mountains and to ski.

As mentioned we spend the majority of our time working with Irish couples (Ciara is originally from Dublin) but we also ship worldwide and have been working with lots of American couples that are getting married in Ireland.

Letterpress printed wedding invitations, this process is definitely not something that happens quickly

The design is completed, the plates are made, the paper is cut, the ink is mixed and the invitations are printed one at a time
-
Yes it’s a slow process but it takes consideration, thought and time and that is shown in the finished result - it’s a labour of love

In the fast world that we live in now it is a craft that remains which people appreciate, each invitation is an art piece, to be held and felt in your hands, to be appreciated!

These wedding tables numbers were a labour of love

These wedding tables numbers were a labour of love, they were an idea that came to my mind which were more difficult than I thought to create but the end result was worth it

We used a very dark green card cut into an oval shape, we then added the numbers and gold leaf to create unique gold and green oval table numbers

These will be displayed at the venues at each table

We also created matching ovals as a seating chart and dark green gold foil pressed ceremony booklets covers
